Woke up about 7:30. Why is it easier to actually get out of bed when His Lordship is home as opposed to when he’s at work? Guilt? Who knows?? Anyway, I got up made my half an ‘everything’ bagel (it’s Saturday!) and coffee. Settled in to watch my PBS shows on Saturday morning.
First up was “Antiques Roadshow”…always interesting. Then it’s “The Great British Baking Show”, yes, yes; that’s what it’s called here in the states. Evidently Pillsbury has a patent or somesuch on ‘bake off’. Stupid, but there you have it. Like someone would confuse this with canned biscuit dough. Sheesh.
After Bake Off (I’m a rebel) I did my internet stuff and started writing this. Then it was exercise time. I’m doing a 30 day challenge and it’s kicking my fat butt. But my fat butt needs kicking so…yeah. Today I did 60 squats, 9 pushups, 45 second plank and 50 crunches. And some assorted yoga stuff and stretching. Stretch kids, it’s key!
Shower time! His Lordship went a-shopping for stuff and I asked him to bring back lunch. Sandwiches. Then I got all my crochet stuff out (I’d put it away for Christmas) and started to make a bear. I think I’ll make bears on the weekends and knockers during the week. That’s a plan. I posted a pic of the bear on Saturday when I finished it.
Whilst crocheting I watched both playoff games. During halftime of the first game, His Lordship and I went to the craft store and I stocked up on yarn and stuffing. Also some bits and bobs for His Lordship’s crafts as well. 20% off on total price…yay!
Back home, more crocheting, more watching. I texted my friend in Tucson and we chatted a bit. I stopped to make dinner; coconut shrimp curry with rice. It was yummy. Then back at it. The game ended before my bear, but that’s okay.
His Lordship finished his crafty stuff and took over the tv and I finished my bear and this post!

I love Antiques Roadshow. A friend and I were actually featured in the Feedback Booth when we went in San Antonio. So exciting!
What are the knockers you're crocheting?

That's so cool! I'll have to watch for you!
It's an organization called Knitted Knockers (https://www.knittedknockers.org/). There are a bunch of us who get together once a month and make these. They are then donated, as are the bears. I'm the only crochet person, but that's okay. It's a fun way to give back and it feeds my need to crochet!
