...adulted. But first; yesterday.
I did go to coffee with my new/old friend. We went to a 'new' coffee place that was not actually set up for customers to come in and drink a cuppa. Hmmm. But we did and they were very nice about the whole thing. We sat for about 2 hours, drank 2 cups each (I had "dirty" chai and was flying all day). She sprinkles her conversations with "...and the Lord told me..I asked the Lord to....I was worried and the Lord took my fear from me..." I smiled and nodded. Addictive personality indeed. Could be worse, could be crack. I don't think she approves of yoga. ;)
I was pretty done after that and came home and didn't. His Lordship came home and was so very tired, he napped. It was a quiet evening and we watched The Curse of Oak Island. Those people have more money than brains, but if it's still on once His Lordship is retired we are totally doing the drinking game!
Today I girded my loins and did the above mentioned adulting by driving across town to the bank (it was my mom's account). It was much easier than I anticipated and now that is done. I have one more account to deal with (paralegal) and then taxes. What will I complain about when that is over???? ;)
His Lordship and I did some yard work, raking up all the oak leaves on our property. We have no oak trees by the way. But they blow in from the school and the neighbors. There are times I'm tempted to throw them back but...no. One must have good neighbor karma, right? Ammirite?
Dinner is over and I'm not sure about the rest of the evening. We shall proceed.

Adulting is overrated, but unfortunately necessary sometimes.

She was careful, but you could tell that is how she normally speaks as it was just natural for her to slip those phrases in. As long as she doesn't proselytize, we'll be fine.

I met a woman recently who felt yoga shouldn't be practiced by Christian women. Yes, the practice has spiritual significance; but it also improves flexibility and muscle tone.
