I watched Sister Wives last night. It's like a train wreck, I couldn't stop. There needs to be a "Brother Husbands". Just sayin'. The husband? He's a smug bastard.

You are gonna be so sorry. Here goes. Got up at 7 as my alarm failed me or I failed it. Either way I got up an hour late, so no exercising for me. I made breakfast (scrambled eggs) for The Princelings, I made their lunches and mine. They left at 7:50. At 8 I got in the shower. I was off to work at 8:45.

I drove today, normally I walk. I had an appointment after school and couldn't take the time to walk home. Can't leave too early ya know? I got to school 10 min. early so I could leave 10 min. late. I made myself a cup of Vanilla Chai Tea. Yum.

Turned on my computer, checked my email. Went to see if the big file we were waiting on had downloaded, nope. Spent the morning cleaning up my desk and filing papers that were lanquishing. Emailed colleagues re: file/testing. Starting to panic. Testing begins at 9:15am tomorrow. At 11:10 got an email saying the file was available. Ran to Principal's office, she had it and forwarded it to me (it contained the necessary passwords I required). 11:15 time for lunch duty. Lunch duty from 11:15 to 11:45.

Ate lunch (spinach salad) from 11:45(ish) to 12:15(ish). Back to lunch duty from 12:15 to 1pm.

Back at my desk at 1pm. Opened email. Read email. Seems straightforward. Was told to watch tutorials. Did so from 1:15 to 1:50. Getting confused. Email colleagues re: confusion. Confusion reigns supreme. Heart racing. Talk to colleague on phone. Venting occurs. Good thing the lab is closed. Find out I need information from the secretary, I do not have rights/access to said info. Must have it to input students in testing database. Seriously panicking. 2:25, Principal comes to my room and asks me to go to her office and try to open an email that she must have by 4pm. I need to leave in 25 minutes. Colleague calls and asks where I am, very close to where she lives. She will meet me back at the lab at 4:30 to help me. I feel a certain relief.

Can't open file. Have teacher who sent it, print it to give to Principal. Running out of time. Fly out of the building at 2:51. Have 9 minutes to get to my conference at The Heir's high school. Arrive at high school 1 minute late. Am stopped by 2 of The Heir's friends who tell me I'm late. Teenagers. My phone starts ringing as I walk in the door. Then I get a text. *insert roll eyes here* Am exactly 4 minutes late.

Have conference until 3:45. The Heir is mad at me. Oh well. We leave, he to pick up his girlfriend to bring her over for dinner, me back to the lab. He tells me he'll be home at 6:30pm. Arrive back at lab at 4:20. Get info from Secretary. Wait. Call His Lordship and tell him my plans, that he needs to take the food out of the fridge, put it in at 6 and to pick up The Spare. M arrives at 4:30 and we spend the next 1 1/2 hours going over the testing protocol. It is not intuitive, it is not a user friendly interface. I think, think, I've got it.

Get home at 6:05, no one there - no food out, no oven on. Get enchiladas out of fridge, turn on oven. Clean off table. My kitchen is a mess as we are in the process of putting in the door and fixing the wall (went from 8ft door to 6ft door). 6:30 - no one home. 6:40 His Lordship and The Spare arrive. I make a salad. No Heir, no girlfriend. They didn't show up until 7:30. I tried very hard to be nice, even though I was furious that he was an hour late. The food got dried out. Nice first impression, yeah?

Dinner was ok. They left a bit after 8. There will be a discussion later. I cleaned the kitchen, changed my clothes, balanced the check book. Now I'm typing. When I'm done I'll put on my pj's, wash my face, brush my teeth and watch Hawaii Five-0. Then I'm going to bed.

I have to be at work at 8am to get the testing set up. I don't get paid overtime.
