Every Time

I do this every time. Every. Damn. Time.

We are having company tonight, rather than do stuff yesterday, I sat on the couch. Now I have a ton to do (and I've already done a ton) and I'm going to be so wiped out tonight. Le sigh. You'd think I'd learn.

In other, startlingly awful, news; seems there is a serial killer on the loose. Two people in another county and two people here. 3 days apart, seems to be targeting "elderly" people. Although one of the women in Minden was only 56. That's younger than me!!

Everyone here is on high alert; don't let anyone in (why would you do that?), keep your cell phone charged, keep your lights on, stay away from Walmart (which was new, and not on the news but I heard it from an "insider" - I'm sure that ticked off Wally World - but there seems to be some kind of connection), and all the usual. There was a huge press conference yesterday with all the combined law enforcement types. Which I found interesting. My insider had already alerted me about it and that the FBI and under cover task force was involved. The press conference confirmed same, if you knew how to read between the lines. Come to find out today that the couple killed here in sw Reno were a high profile couple. Well, that explains the news conference. I'm cynical, I know. But I'm on high alert and all is well.

Back to cleaning!

I do that too!!!! In fact, I did it today... I have friends coming for lunch tomorrow, and still remaining to do is clean the bathroom, and wash the kitchen floor. I technically don't HAVE to do these things because they are already reasonably clean - but my inner hobbitmum is scandalised that I haven't cleaned All the things, just some of them.

I hope they catch the person soon - how worrying.
