Dream a Little Dream
I'm thinking you don't mean the dreams I have at night. At least I hope not. I barely remember them.
Hmmm.
I dream that the world will be a better place for my children. I actually worry about that. I dream that both the boys will be happy and successful in whatever they choose to do.
I dream that His Lordship and I will grow old together and be silly and love each other to pieces.
And just in case; I have very vivid dreams but I cannot remember them past a few hours. I know that sometimes I wake up shaking from horrible dreams where my children are in some peril and I don't want to go back to sleep and re-enter that dream.
I dream about Spike sometimes. Sometimes I dream about 10 (Doctor Who). Rarely I dream about old boyfriends. If I'm very lucky, I dream about my daddy.
When we were first married I had a recurring dream that His Lordship refused to marry me as I'd already been married once before. I'd wake up in a cold sweat, not knowing where I was, terrified that I'd be alone forever. Then I'd look over and he'd be snoring away. Insecure much?
I don't have that one anymore. ;)
His Lordship has told me that, very rarely, I'll be seeming to struggle in my sleep and thrash about moaning. When he's woken me up it's always been me trying to scream in my dream. I've only ever woken up once screaming - someone was trying to get to my kids.
One time I dreamt that His Lordship was having an affair. I didn't talk to him for 2 days and he had no idea why. Poor guy.
Why do we always remember the weird, crazy dreams? Where are the warm, fuzzy dreams?
