I really liked this [community profile] thefridayfive:

These questions were written by Dreamwidth user Archersangel.

1. What size (twin, full, etc.) is your bed?
It's a California King pillow top bamboo mattress. We can't flip it, but we do rotate it. I love it. It lives in a waterbed frame (from the late 70's) so it's a platform. I'm trying to get His Lordship to make a riser for it as it's becoming harder for me to change the bedding alone. Sux getting old. Heh.

2. How many pillows do you sleep with?
Two. One for my head is infused with lavender and the "old" one is for between my knees. It keeps my hips even and lessens low back pain.

3. Do you have a weighted blanket? If so, does it help you?
No - we have a duvet with a light cotton cover for winter although I'm noticing we may need a new one as all the down is in the middle. In the summer we have a lightweight quilt. All plaid. I'm not one for foofy stuff.

4. Do you sleep with any stuffed animals?
No and no extra pillows either. The little black dog used to sleep with us before he got too infirm to jump on the bed.

5. Do you have to have the TV on to go to sleep?
No and we don't really use the bedroom tv anymore now that the princelings have moved out.

Changing stuff on the bed is just horrendous work. If someone is around I still nab help on wrestling my duvet into its new cover. There are few things more soul destroying than a fitted sheet slowly pinging out of place. I now wish I had described my bed-frame haha. It is fancy and I paid the price for it. I should have gloated lol

Ooooh I might try a pillow between my knees. I have an orthopedic mattress that is super hard to help my back but it still acts up. Wish I had known the trick while travelling in Australia. Towards the end my friend had to haul me out of bed in the morning because my back was just...stuck from not being on a hard enough surface.

It was a good Friday five this week :)

I’ve noticed how we all describe the size of our beds differently. Our bed is 6’ wide - is that the same as yours?

How delightful. Now I want a pillow infused with lavender. Aromatherapy!

Yup, 6 feet wide and about 6 1/2 feet long. Great for us tall people!

You can get lavender spray or mist and use that on your pillows as well. I want to say Bed Bath and Beyond.

Thanks for the tip.

Right now I'm smelling Febreze, recommended by my realtor. I Do Not Like.

Ugh! Too much. Fresh baked bread. Get a bunch of those frozen rolls and when the realtor says they have an appt., pop one or two in the oven.

Or simmer stuff on the stove, like mulling spices. So much better.

Wonderful! I will.

Ooh! Your bed sounds cozy.

I do have a few stuffed animals, but they are for times when husband is not in bed with me.

I do that, too! Po the IKEA panda has been keeping watch while P. has been travelling the last few weeks. :)

Nope, not since I was wee. I used to have some really neat pillows, but with His Lordship working shifts...they were always on the floor. Maybe once he retires.....
