Day 15 - What season are you grateful for?

Well that's kind of a gimme, innit? At my age, whatever season I'm in. I'm partial to spring and fall though. One gets tired of the heat and looks forward to the cooler times. Then, one gets tired of the cold and looks forward to the warmer times. Or I could live in Hawaii and be 72 degrees all the time! ha!!!

Yesterday was a rather lost day. I had big plans that did not come to fruition. I pretty much watched bad tv, ate too much and just "wallered".

Today, after I post this, His Lordship and I will be going out to do our local 'Small Business Saturday' shopping. I try to frequent my small, local shops and artisans for Christmas. Try being the key word. I mean after all - Target people!

Ok, I hope everyone is having a splendid weekend!

Ooh that's a good question. As much as I love winter, I'm torn between the new beginnings of spring and the excitement of the new school year of autumn.

I've had a wasted day today too - but I must admit I've thoroughly enjoyed it.

I do love the seasons - I don’t think I’d like to live in a constant temperature.

I like the change of the seasons too. In Tucson, it was hot and hotter. Here we get all four.

I like that we have real seasons now. In Texas it seemed like we had nine months of summer and a month each for the rest.

The only Small Business we were able to fit in was the liquor store. We had an electrician over from 9 to 4 and then my brother and his family dropped by unannounced. I'm not a fan of spontaneous visits but they're lots of fun. Their raid on our beer supply prompted the liquor store run, though.

We always wind up with more beer after a holiday...everyone brings some and I always buy some!

I think "lost" days are totally acceptable, especially after the holidays.

Especially if they include your flannels and the fireplace!
