Would you rather [entertainment version]...
1. Download music // buy a CD
I have a feeling most of these answers will sound the same. In this case, it would depend on what I'm using the music for! And honestly? I like listening to the radio. Yes, yes, iz old.

2. Use MP3 player // Use CD Player
Again, depends. I use the MP3 player on my walks (listening to the radio!) and I use a CD player when doing yoga.

3. Watch a movie at a theater // Rent a video
I can count on one hand the times we've gone to a theater in the past 5 years. Sigh. So expensive! But we did see the big movies! I can't wait until November and the "Bohemian Rhapsody" movie to come out! Mostly we watch on "the" Netflix or "the" Amazon. Heh.

4. Amusement park for the day // Picnic in a park for a day
Amusement parks were tons of fun when we were younger and when the kids were little. Now? Eh. Picnic in the park sounds fun - are you bringing the fried chicken?

5. Read a magazine // Dollage with a magazine
First, I think it meant "collage" as I have no idea what "dollage" is. And read, definitely read.

I was really excited about the BR movie but now I'm reading reports they are omitting the Aids crises ect. That would totally ruin and be unfair to Freddie in my mind. I hope it turns out to be false.

I'm pretty sure (but could be totally wrong) that the movie only goes up to the Live Aid performance in 1985. It would have been prior to the AIDS crisis. I also believe (and could be mistaken) that the surviving band members (i.e Brian May, et. al.) did NOT want that part of his history presented as it's more about the band than about Freddie. Either way....THE MUSIC!!!!

Well that sounds a lot better then. I would not watch something that just erased part of his queer history, band focused or not. However, if the story ends before that part of history happens then fair dues and I'd probably watch it at a later point.

I only watch a few films at the cinema each year though cause the prices are eyewatering.

Yes, I am too mean to pay to go to the cinema much ... only saw the Star Wars films there.

MMmmm I googled Dollage, and I think the question is that of .... do you buy a magazine to read, or for sho on a coffee table. Again, I am too mean to have display items I don't use!

It depends on the movie. We saw the Star Wars movies on the big screen, went to the new Blade Runner film (yes, nerds) and will definitely see BR on the big screen!

But as one person put it...the prices are "eyewatering"; then add the price of the obligatory movie popcorn....home is nice.
