20 What did you use to spend your pocket money on?
Hmmm, I seem to recall in elementary school (Grades 1-6) that we had an ice cream sale after lunches. It was up to the 6th graders to run it...I have no idea if the funds went to a specific program. I used to love to save up and buy a Dreamsicle. My love of Dreamsicles is eternal.

Poor guy. I think that once he's retired and gets used to it after a month or two, if not sooner, then he'll laugh about stressing about it beforehand. At the very least, he'll wonder why he was stressing about it when now he can fully enjoy himself in retirement.

I think so. It's mostly about health insurance. I've told him that even if he was working and we had something bad happen, it wouldn't matter - we'd still be screwed.

I keep him busy!

I was in a panic about stopping work when I made the decision and it took a while not to think about it after I stopped. I set myself some things to so I’d be busy which helped. It is very difficult at first.

I think he'll be fine as far as keeping busy goes. It's the idea of not going in...not "providing" and having insurance. Which we'll have, but a catastrophic illness would do us in no matter if he was working or no. So he'll be fine. I try to keep him busy! ;)
