Yesterday was the 12th and so I am late. As per usual.
I got up about 7:30, had my coffee and oatmeal and internet. I just do it about an hour or so later than I used to. While I was waiting for my oatmeal to cook and coffee to cool, I put a load of rugs in the washer.
About 9 or so, I finally got off the computer (I tend to linger since I don't have to be anywhere) and moved the rugs to the dryer. Started cleaning my yoga room, dusting and mopping, in anticipation of a private lesson that I did today.
I also ran the vacuum in the living room, dusted same. Cleaned both bathrooms. It's amazing how fast cleaning goes when it's only me and His Lordship here. And I'm learning just who makes what messes. Can't blame anything on kids/dog anymore.
At 11:30 I took a break and went to the noon yoga class. I'm trying to go to all my classes during the day for MY practice which keeps me available in the morning/late afternoon for teaching privates. I'm working on that.
Got home a bit after 1pm. Talked to The Spare as he and his (new!) girlfriend want to attend a meditation at the studio. Got them signed up for same. He's funny, I thought there were only two spots left and he wasn't sure about going if I wasn't there too. Huh. Silly kid.
I ate a bag of popcorn with Parmesan cheese for lunch. So good. So bad for me. Oh well. Then I settled in to crocheting for a bit.
His Lordship didn't get home until almost 3:30, he worked about an hour of OT. He's okay with it, so I am too. I had made some crochet items for a friend and she came by around 4:15 for them. She's a teacher at the school where I used to work and her daughter is in 1st grade this year. I saw a lot of her daughter last year as I had that lunch duty. Teacher told me that "..the kids keep asking when you are coming back...". I wondered if they asked for duty or computers and she said computers. I laugh because I can. Bwahahahahaha. I got big hugs from both of them.
I told His Lordship that the rest of the day until 9pm was all about him. We could do what he liked, I was making his favorite (for now) dinner. I made up this recipe with hashbrowns, hot Italian sausage, bell peppers and cheese. I call it 'sausage hash' and he loves it. Especially during the work week as it makes tons of leftovers.
At 9pm I settled in to watch the A&E $cientology show. It just fascinates me. Like a train wreck I can't look away.
10pm was bedtime and His Lordship was already out. He has to get up at 4:45am every morning and I'm of the opinion that he's not getting enough sleep. I'm trying to convince him to go to bed earlier during the week. He's got a thing about us going to bed at the same time, which is just silly as I tend to stay up much later and read. A work in progress.
That's it. Kinda boring, but nice.
